looks like SONY just had more money to throw around buying off studios and retailers for its version of a hi definition content disk. whatever, so long as we can have something before all physical media is made utterly obsolete by the awesomeness of online digital delivery. Yes its "dead" in nerd speak but how in hell does that effect you enjoyinh the films you have already bought for this drive?:S
Also there are some good titles at a tiny price now compare to fanboyray.
i have a multi drive in the pc and i prefer to play hd-dvd in all honesty.

You know there are people that collect consoles, and anything game related such as the Atari Jaguar or even the utter failure of the Virtual Nintendo. I have pretty much every console ever released with the exception of the the original Atari. I look forward to adding the HD Drive to that collection and probably years from now and say I own one of those "worthless" HD Drives.
Hmmm....I wonder how much I could get for an original in mint condition Nintendo Entertainment System go for on eBay?

dude the 360 is inferrior. what proof do u have that says the PS3 sucks? the PS3 only uses 10%(yeah!) of its memory to play games and movies, the 360 uses 60-75%(holy shit!!) to play games and movies. 360 has the library of games but PS3 has the horse power and the graphics. PS3>360 pwnage.
