Video Description:
Monster tyree salmon underwater attack FBR™ (Franko Bullet Rotator™) trolling. This is the Million dollar shot with clear water and clear video. This action was shot aboard the Fishin Machine with Bob Franko near Half Moon Bay, California. This action shot is zoomed and slow down so you can see the real action. At high speed you would believe the salmon never grabbed the tail on the initial approach, but under slow motion and zooming you can see how incredibly accurate salmon or on their attacks. Take out the tail first and if that doesn't work swallow the hold thing. How the self-releasing trout catfish bass bait hook works. Since you aren't breaking off hooks in fish and with the TadPole snagless weights, not breaking off in rocks, you get in more fishing time because you are not down re-rigging so that gives you more time with your bait in the water and you improve your catch. This is especially important when you have kids, as you will not spend all of your time re-rigging them. It is especially a good feeling seeing them swim away. Berkley Power Bait and these hooks and TadPole make one of the most effective trout bait rig there is. Catch and keep, no problem, you get the hook out instantly, and catch and release couldn't
be easier. Regarding self-releasing hooks. They are design to release fish without touching them. Basically how they work is the eye of the hook is at the bend of the hook and the leader line goes through a flexible plastic sleeve that goes over leader line and when the sleeve is slid down over the shank of the hook it is set and fish just like a regular fishhook. The sleeve has a second line tied to the top of this and parallels the main leader line and is attach by a sliding 3 turn uniknot tied with thread. When you slid the red knot up by pinching it or using a pocket comb it slides the sleeve up and the hook rotates and self releases.

| This video was shot with a Splash cam under water video camera trolled behind downrigger wire at approximately 30 feet from Half Moon Bay California. The camera lead was fed into a Sony 280 camcorder camera where is was later transferred to a Sony 512 camcorder and then processed with a Imac computer using Final Cut Express. The footage was shot by Bob Franko aboard the Fishin Machine...Thanks for your question and I'm glad you enjoyed the footages. |

| Wow, it'd be nice to always see whats goin on with your lure down there in the water, it would really liven things up to see whats goin on down there cuz sometimes you have to wait for hours to even get a bite when the fishin' is slow. I have a few question: Did you set the hook after it bit? Where can I buy a camera like that? Does it only work with trolling for salmon? |
