Be sure to get your hands on his recent concert DVD "The Long Road Home". This dude is over 60 years old and still rocks with the stamina and energy of a man 20 years younger! This man's power to rock seems eternal. Back in the day, there was a lot of music around, and Creedence was one of my favorite groups. But now, with the perspective of time, Fogerty truly stands out as an amazing singer/songwriter and fabulous guitarist -- and also an exceptionally inspired live performer. To me, he's the best of his era in American music. Long may he play on.

I saw CCR at the Forum in L.A. back in '70...The Guess Who opened for them..God what a time that was ..These guys were like rewriting the book of Rock and Roll..Great music..They were a group that was flawless in their playing..sounded just like their records....But like all things having to do with greed and ego the two brothers Tom and John Fogerty just could not stand one another..They never got it straightened out before Tom died a few years ago from a form of cancer I believe.
