The Film , a multi-layers stories which interlaces into a fabulous feature, where Three interconnected lives converge: A congressman interacts with a journalist; an idealistic professor tries to inspire a privileged student; and a pair of American soldiers wounded in Afghanistan, one having been the professor's former student.
The Actors featured in the film are Tom Cruise, Robert Redford, Meryl Streep, Michael Pena, Andrew Garfield
The Film is directed and produced by Robert Redford.

Soldiers in Afghanistan is being tipped as an OSCAR contender because of its controversial subject matter.
Tom Cruise spent more than 2 hours on the red carpet with British Fans... He said : "They love movies, and it's just an experience that I look forward to when I come here" "It's really nice. I actually was suprised that there were this many people here. I thought it's raining, it's cole." A Huge crowd gathered for the unique event ( US Film world premiere in UK).
Cruise plays a US senator. Meryll Streep plays a TV journalist who is granted some unexpected and explosive information by the senator.
Redford (directs the movie) plays an idealistic US professor. He eventually inspires his students to join the Afghanistan War...
Michael PENA is one of the student , and goes with his best friend and gets caught into the wild "adventure" of War... with a too high price at the key...
It touches the aftermath of September 11 attacks, the "war on terror", on the subject of a politically-dived US.
It reveals beyond political wars , a matter that is much higher, the price of human life... how much we evaluate someone's life... A main question comes in mind: Who shall we give our armed forces green light... ( who does our energy and fight goes to defend ?)... in our daily language we would say : who are we friend with ? friend enough to send our forces to defend... and fight against their enemies... at what price (cost)?
