Evolution is not a theory of how life began.
So your point about RNA is a different topic and a different issue of debate.
I am not concerned about programing theory, I am talking about empirical observation at sub atomic scales.
The universe is probalistic, you do not have to like, or even agree, but it will not change what has been repeatedly observed.

well that's cheating. because the burning life long question is and has always been "how did we get here" not "why is my hair blond?" creation explains it, and evo skips it. I think it is absolutely germane to the whole subject, and conveniently left to another branch of "science" unless evo will make a prediction about a future occurrence or provide some practical and useful applications, it is only a divisive subject, relegated to water cooler chit chat and not the classroom.

I did not say that science does not provide insight into this question, it does, see abiogenesis. I was saying that the theory of evolution is a theory of how life diversifies not how it began.
Scientist have demonstrated in the laboratory that the early conditions that would have been found on earth greatly increase the probability of the natural formation of complex self replicating proteins, evolution does not address how life came to exist science is still struggling to understand.

You can speculate about philosophical questions, but considering what all the evidence found in nature indicates theology is wrong on several points.
If life was created by god, it seems odd that he would plant all the bogus evidence found in the scientific study of nature. I can not say if god exists, but I can say that from what we know of the universe the gods discribed by many theistic philosophies are highly improbable and need to be revised or dismissed.

You obviously do not understand how evolution has improved our understanding and thus proved practical for application in human affairs.
Evolution has had huge impact in the medical field in the insight it offers, and its reach has is not limited to this field.
Evolution is also critical in agriculture.
The study of genetics is born from the insights of this theory.
You may not like what evolution implies about scriptural creation, but it is naive to suggest it has not benefited humanity.

I for one am not satisfied by "god did it" this explains nothing and does not offer practical use, only convenience for the philosophically lazy and psychological comfort for those that can not deal with epistemological ambiguity. Science is the study of what religions claim is gods creation, yet it is rejected if it conflicts with prior assumptions of those religions.

It would be appropriate for Dawkins and other scientists to address the question as to the actual nature of truth and faith AS SUBJECTIVE EXPERIENCE . Truth for individuals is what we "believe"- whether deluded or not. It is hardly surprising that
religious beliefs survive given leisure
activities relate to fictions e.g. reading fiction , watching T.V., soaps, phantasising about our past, future , questioning the purpose, if any, of our existence and phenomena scientists cannot explain.
