Because in the jewish religion they believe that palestine is there promise land what about people who are from different religions and don't believe what they believe. The Romans named Palestine as a geographic name 4 the land between the Mediterranean Sea and the Jordan River. It was named after the Palestinians who lived in the south and after the Romans made the Jews leave the region.
1920- the British took over the region from the Ottomans and took that Roman geographic name, Palestine, 4 their controlled land.
1948- Jews recieved the land (Israel) and Palestinians recieved the rest (Gaza, WB) from UK andn UN.

I think this is a good impartial documentary many thanks. Isael will have to make peace with her neighbours and properly compensate the arabs who have lost land. Both sides need to step back and try to honestly understand each others position. The really enemies are the aggressive extremists and fanatics on both sides. Once the moderates have estabished peace Israel-Palestine could be a Secular Utopian state like the early Zionists dreamed of with equal rights for all.
