Cesar hat alles, was sich ein Mann wünscht: Er ist reich, charmant und attraktiv. Doch in einer Nacht ändert sich sein Leben schlagartig: Nach einem Rendezvous mit der schönen Sofia hat er eine fatale Begegnung mit seiner Ex-Freundin Nuria. Ihr Streit endet tödlich - bei einem Unfall kommt Nuria ums Leben, Cesar wird entstellt. Erst im Gefängnis einer Psychiatrie wacht er wieder auf - als Mörder! Cesar kann sich an nichts erinnern. Warum trägt er eine Maske? Warum lebt Nuria wieder? Hat er wirklich Sofia getötet? Zusammen mit einem Psychologen taucht Cesar in seine paranoide Psyche. This is masterpiece of the movie, shining diamond of modern european cinematography. Luckily, I have seen it far before Cameron Crowe's ''american dream doesn't exists'' dissapointment.
