Are you THAT misinformed?? There are Jews living in many Arab/Islamic nations TODAY and are living equally as other citizens. In fact, before Israel was created, they were living peacefully in other Arab as neighbors. They weren't subject to any tax nonsense. You're only referring to the 11th century caliphate empire. Don't forget, around that time, the Christians led an inquisition and drove you out of their lands and then massacred. Islam tolerated other faiths.

Brutal? I'm sorry but 20th century Europe (a.k.a christian rule) was imposing a holocaust and before that in history they were leading crusades and inquisitions against both Jews and Muslims. So please, don't say Islamic rule, which allowed people to practice whatever faith they wished (under tax of course) was "brutal" compared to christian rule. You really made me laugh there. And don't forget that many Islamic nations don't even practice that tax law in modern days and have many Jews citizens

When Bethlehem was transferred from Israel to the control of the Palestinian authority 60% of its population was Christian, now 15 years later only 20% of its population is Christian, I wonder why? I guess Christian population of Bethlehem is also misinformed about the tolerant nature of Islam.

I suggest you read about the village of Al-Bassa. Also, Israeli settlers attacked the Christian Peacemaker Team who were escorting Palestinian children to school. Possibly because it's now a run down shitehole and a dangerous place to be because of random 'incursions', a big ass 'security' wall, 'targeted killings' and less permits to live in Bethlehem being issued to people wanting to live there. Possibly not because it's too dangerous for another religion to co-habit? It's also acknowledged that Christians can more easily escape such places because they're foreigners.
